Green Day Suburbia Bomb
In the early 1990s, Green Day injected the punk scene with a new life, introducing their catchy pop riffs infused with lyrics that reflected the current slacker mentality. The release of their 2004 album, American Idiot , retained their hard-nosed criticism of American culture with songs like "Jesus of Suburbia" and of course, the title track. This exploration of Green Day´s history follows the band´s trajectory from the Bay Area´s Gilman St. punk scene in the early 1990s; to their status as one of the most successful punk bands the world has ever seen.
