Amici Forever: In Concert
With their classically trained vocals and pop-star photogenic looks, sopranos Jo Appleby and Tsakane Valentine, tenors Geoff Sewell and David Habbin, and bass baritone Nick Garrett make up the world´s first opera band Amici Forever. This program captures Amici Forever live in concert at the Brooklyn Academy of Music´s Harvey Theater in New York City, performing a selection of songs from their two albums The Opera Band and Defined , including stylish arrangements of pop standards like "Unchained Melody" and "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" as well as soaring, operatic ballads such as "Nella Fantasia" and "Nessun Dorma".
