Trombonist Al Grey is joined by emerging young tenor saxophonist Billy Mitchell in 1962 sessions, which were originally issued as an LP and finally reissued on this CD Snap Your Fingers that combining the studio recorder with a live session recorded a month earlier. The album captures one of jazz´s most original trombonists, at his best. Grey´s associates include besides Billy Mitchell three promising newcomers: Donald Byrd, Herbie Hancock, and Bobby Hutcherson.
